    SCORE!! Sorry for the sports reference, but this place is definitely a homerun! The other reviewers who gave them a one star and said their portions were small are nuts!!! The portions are medium to large and the prices are super cheap!! This is a diner and the food is exactly that, simple, tasty and fun. They even made a custom grinder for us. We ordered 7 things and the bill was under $30!! We were touring Brown University and wanted to checkout an old school diner. We took an Uber (thank you Rawl) from BU and arrived at this cute little diner on Douglas Ave in North Providence. You could tell the diner had been owned by many generations of the same family. They had different dishes named after family members and friends. The place had so many tasty treats that we just kept ordering, lol!! We had a bowl of clam chowder, an egg white omelette, Fish and chips with tomato sauce, a waffle, a side of bacon and a bunch of cookies and took an Italian sub back to our hotel room! We could have had more, but we were entering into what seemed to be the first stages of a food coma. This was the perfect way to wrap up our east coast trip. Thank you Amanda and your dad for such a great experience. We wish we could pick up your restaurant and move it to Palos Verdes.

    This place is UNREAL. Very classic, quaint diner with incredibly fast and friendly service. I swear this is some of the best food I have ever eaten. I ordered a waffle and bacon and they were both incredible. My dad ordered a grinder and an omelette, both of which he loved. This place makes me sad to live 3000 miles away.

    This is an adorable little diner that serves up casual, inexpensive breakfast and lunch. The counter folks were super friendly and welcoming. You can tell it's a place with mostly regulars, but you don't feel snubbed if you're a newbie. The bacon was crispy and delicious, which is an important test of quality for me! The food came out fairly quickly for me, so I'm not sure if they've replaced the cook (in reference to past reviews complaining about slow service). I'd definitely go back again :-)

    Love this place. It's like stepping back in time. Small cozy diner, feels like you're in the 1950's. Foods yummy, home made. The owners little Italian mom is in the back cooking. Can't miss when an Italian mother is cooking. Enjoy the veggi omlet with black beans. Inexpensive, fast friendly service.

    Delicious! I got the number 2 and had plenty of food. I would go back just to become friends with the owner. He was the nicest man I've ever had wait me at a breakfast place. I also loved that this establishment has been around since at least 1954 ( according to one picture hanging on the wall), which is just a testament to how good this place really is. They also had a variety of food options- a bacon wrapped, deep fried hot Dog for one or the meat lovers Omelet that had bacon, ham, linguisa, steak, and sausage! It's not fancy but if you're looking for a good breakfast with a hometown feel, Geneva diner is certainly the place.

    I work from home several times a week and save my one lunch out/week for Geneva Diner. It's a place where everyone knows you and knows your usual order. And if you go @1PM weekdays, there's a group of folks usually discussing and solving the world's (or at RI's!) problems! Their food is very good, old school to be sure, but made very fresh and is very reasonable. I recommend most things on the lunch menu, but haven't really been for breakfast, so I can't comment. The owner and wait staff is very attentive and friendly. It's very much worth your time to check this little place out!

    Service is extremely slow and the food is barely edible. Calling this place a greasy spoon diner would be a compliment. I complained about my breakfast eggs and home-fries which tasted like it was cooked with old oil on a grill and the cook/owner (short guy) was very rude and disinterested. Ownership and management has changed hands often over the years and it looks like they're on the same path. I would not recommend this place. I wish there was an ability to give negative stars.
